Computer/Facility Security

The patents below protect a variety of electronic security devices that can be used a part of an integrated worker authentication, identification, and data collection system. The devices described automatically log on and log off a user from computer terminals and provide hands-free access to secure facilities. These devices can also acquire, store and then forward information (audio, video, digitally scanned) to computer systems. The protected technology addresses one of the largest issues facing companies: complete and effective security of their computer systems and facilities with a system that workers are willing and able to use and that doesn’t compromise productivity. Current methods of providing this security (passwords, time-outs, pseudo-random number generators, smart cards, biometrics) have flaws that either compromise security or reduce worker productivity.
